Kellogg Park runs right along the boardwalk and beach and features expansive grass lawns that are great for a BBQ, picnic or volley ball game, as well as a very nice playground for children.
The nearby La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed beach community with a mixed-use village offering shopping, dining and beach shops. The several surf, kayaking, snorkeling/scuba diving shops, offer lessons, rentals and guided kayak tours to the sea cliffs and caves at La Jolla Cove.
