Eat Like a Local in San Diego

The frozen acai (pronounced Ah-sah-EE) is usually mixed with fresh fruit, granola and berries, and is a healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth. Experiment with the ingredients and find the best bowl for your individual taste. Local favorites include Rum Jungle on Mission Boulevard in Pacific Beach, OB Smoothie Bar in Ocean Beach, and Point Loma Juice and Smoothie.
